Elevated latency reported in the ingest API for EU-West-1. Root cause identified as a temporary database connection pool exhaustion. Auto-scaling configuration adjusted to prevent recurrence. All systems restored.

Delayed propagation of new schema versions to the write replicas. Investigated and found to be a replication lag issue unrelated to user traffic. Replication health confirmed by DBA team.
